In-Sight 5705

The In-Sight 5705 series offers high performance with high resolution making it the fastest 5MP self contained vision system in the world. The In-Sight 5705 color follows making it the only standalone 5 MP color vision system in the world! Both systems support Gigabit Ethernet and the new blazing fast PatMax Redline tool.

True Color Filtering and easy-to-use Color ID and Color Extraction tools make color inspections easier than ever. Setting up and performing color inspections using these tools requires simple selection of a color region and then color training.

There is no need to understand R-G-B values or other complicated machine vision concepts. The In-Sight 5705C offers color image filtering in addition to grayscale filtering and allows you to train multiple color models using the color library to identify which color the target part is.

In-Sight 7000

The In-Sight 7000 series is a full-featured, powerful vision system that performs fast, accurate inspections of a wide range of parts across all industries. Its compact footprint easily fits into space-constrained production lines.

Along with the internal and external power/control lighting options, the In-Sight 7000 series also has a highly visible pass/fail LED indicator light ring around the camera body, making it easy to see the inspection status no matter where the system is installed.

The In-Sight 7000 series is available in monochrome and color models, in resolutions ranging from VGA to 5MP.

With blazing fast acquisition and industry leading vision tools, including PatMax RedLine, SurfaceFX, OCRMax and color tools (color models only), the In-Sight 7000 vision system:

In-Sight 8000

This family of ultra-compact, standalone vision systems deliver industry-leading vision tool performance, in the form factor of a traditional GigE Vision camera. Measuring just 35mm x 32mm x 76mm, all In-Sight 8000 series models feature power over Ethernet (POE), and provide the best standalone vision system option for integrating into small spaces.

As the world’s smallest, stand-alone vision system, the In-Sight 8000 series offers a range of monochrome and color vision systems in resolutions from 0.3MP up to 5MP.

All In-Sight 8000 models can be mounted at angles of up to 45-degrees using the In-Sight non-linear calibration tool. These vision systems are ideal for integrating into tight spaces on robots and hard-to-reach machinery anywhere on the production line.

RedLine was designed with one goal in mind: blazing fast pattern matching on all In-Sight 8000 series vision systems. In typical applications, PatMax RedLine runs 4 to 7 times faster than PatMax – or faster! – with no loss of search accuracy or robustness. Together with PatMax RedLine, the In-Sight 8000 series can reduce cycle times and increase throughput without compromising inspection accuracy.

In-Sight 9000

The In-Sight 9000 is a rugged, ultra-high-resolution line of standalone vision systems. With its ability to acquire and process exceptionally detailed images, the In-Sight 9000 delivers high accuracy part location, measurement, and inspection over a large area—even when mounted at longer distances. Line scan and area scan image acquisition options are available for imaging continuously moving or stationary objects. Plus, a full suite of vision tools configurable through the In-Sight EasyBuilder interface solves a wide range of applications across industries.

The In-Sight 9000 captures a large field of view which allows users to inspect sizable objects while maintaining exceptional image resolution. This also enables customers to mount the vision system away from conveyors and maintain a safe distance from hazardous equipment.

The In-Sight 9000 eliminates the need to install multiple cameras in applications with large objects or parts. As a single camera solution, the In-Sight 9000 reduces complexity, calibration requirements, and cost compared to multi-camera systems. The self-contained unit reduces the amount of equipment to be installed on space-restricted production lines. Plus, IP67-rated housing protects the system from liquids and dust without the need for an external enclosure.

The In-Sight 9000 offers both line scan and area scan image acquisition methods.

In-Sight 9902L

The In-Sight 9902L 2K line scan smart camera is a high resolution self-contained vision system ideal for detailed inspections of large, cylindrical, or continuously moving objects. The 9902L acquires up to 16,000 lines of 2,000 pixels per line to produce a 32MP image that can used to detect even the smallest features and defects. Each pixel line is acquired at 67,000 lines per second to keep up with the fastest production lines. This standalone vision system only requires a small view of the target part, making it an ideal choice for installations with restrictive field of view or mounting space requirements.

The In-Sight 9902L is the only embedded industrial line scan system that processes images directly on the camera. Onboard processing eliminates the inconvenience of having to install a separate controller. Plus, the IP67-rated housing protects the system from liquids and dust without the need for an external enclosure.

Line scan cameras are an ideal choice for inspecting oversized or cylindrical objects on fast-moving production lines. There are many applications for line scan, the most common including:

Cylindrical objects, such automotive filters and batteries, where 100% if the product’s surface can be inspected as it rotates along the production line
Label inspection on curved surfaces, such as soup cans or bottles wrappers, that can be “unrolled” into a 2D flat surface for inspection
Large objects, such as solar cells and car door panels that can be imaged and inspected as a whole

The In-Sight 9902L has a blazing fast 67 kHz line rate, acquiring each line of data in just 15 microseconds. Capturing 2,000 pixels with each line, the camera delivers 32MP images (16,000 lines) that enable vision tools to perform highly detailed inspections.

Ease-of-use is built into the heart of In-Sight vision systems starting with easy to use but powerful vision tools and In-Sight Explorer software interface. A spreadsheet view makes the user experience very simple for maximum control over your optical inspection applications. The In-Sight Explorer software also includes an EasyBuilder configuration environment for deploying reliable applications quickly, with no programming required.

EasyBuilder configuration software helps users of all experience levels to quickly setup their application—no programming knowledge required. This easy-to-use interface walks you through the process of setting up your vision application, step by step.

The In-Sight Explorer spreadsheet view provides a robust, flexible and efficient way to configure the vision tools and handle the data created from a vision application. The In-Sight spreadsheet includes specialized functions, options and operations that allow you to solve complex applications without ever writing a line of code.

A spreadsheet view of the In-Sight Explorer software interface makes the user experience very satisfying. Drag and drop vision tools and graphics palette along with menu-driven tool property sheets makes job configuration simple. The In-Sight Explorer software also includes an EasyBuilder environment. With no programming needed, applications are deployed quickly.

In addition to Easy Builder, In-Sight Explorer offers a more powerful Microsoft Excel-like environment for configuring more advanced applications.
